Course overview

The Diploma in Communication is designed to enlighten students on the art of communication, perception, group dynamics, and persuasion by studying both verbal and nonverbal communication strategies.

Course objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to;

•             Discuss the difference between soft skills and hard skills

•             Identify different communication channels

•             Differentiate between verbal and non-verbal communication

•             Discuss filters and barriers

•             Explain the effect which new technologies have had upon communication

•             Discuss the importance of culture and context to communication

Training Format: 

• All materials are made available through our Online Learning Platform

• Students should commit approximately 5-6 hours of their time per week

Materials Provided: 

Online delivery of curriculum materials, exercises and templates.

Assignments: 

In order to demonstrate their understanding of the course content, students will be required to submit assignments at the end of every month.
